Speech-Language Therapy
Our Speech-Language
Pathologists are highly trained professionals who evaluate and treat
clients with communication difficulties. In speech-language therapy, SLPs use
their expertise to develop and maximize a child’s speech, language, oral motor,
voice and socio-pragmatic skills in a motivating, play setting with the goal of
increasing the child’s independence and ability to communicate. Speech-language
pathologists use different therapeutic methods such as one-on-one; dyad and
small group treatment to meet the individual needs of the client thus helping
them overcome their communication disabilities. Some areas addressed include,
but are not limited to:
- Articulation difficulties
- Oral motor concerns and Apraxia
(difficulty planning and coordinating oral motor movements to produce
speech)
- Auditory Processing
- Pragmatic Skill Development
- Receptive and Expressive
language disorders
- Augmentative Communication
(PECs, picture schedule, etc.)
- Fluency and Stuttering issues
- Vocal quality and resonance
Occupational Therapy
Our Occupational therapists
focus on helping your child —through play activities— achieve independence in
all areas of their lives. They work to develop functional skills needed for
independence with play, self-care, learning and academic success, motor skill
development and socialization in the home, school and community. In
occupational therapy treatment, the child is engaged in a meaningful,
purposeful and structured activity to facilitate coping with and adaptation to
illness and disability. It focuses on the assessment and treatment of the
following areas, but not limited to:
- Achievement of developmental milestones
- Activities of daily living and self-care in preparation for independent living
- Gross and fine motor coordination
- Sensory stimulation or modulation
- Specific upper extremity evaluation
- Pre-academic and educational readiness skills
- Prevocational and/or work adjustment skills
- Play and leisure abilities
- Social skills (in the context of interaction with the family, other adult and peers, in school or in the community)
SPED Services
Early Intervention:
Early Intervention is an educational process of giving appropriate educational attention to prevent the appearance of other exceptionalities and to train the child to be more independent. Children detected with exceptionalities at an early age, 3-5yrs. will benefit from this program.
Tutorial Services:
Tutorial services are provided to support children with learning difficulties in any subjects to help to help them cope in school. Also, the tutorial services can enrich knowledge of children with and without learning difficulties for them to perform better in school and to aim for excellence. Furthermore, appropriate child-centered strategies are being used to cater to every unique needs of the children.

The 5E's of learning aims to build a firm foundation
during the formative years of life. It uses
Integrated Core Curriculum that initiates meaningful, fun, and interesting
learning experiences. The School Readiness stimulates enthusiasm for learning
in a supportive and positive environment while providing an academic program.
Each day is carefully planned to suit each individual child's developmental
needs as well as the group's goals and developmental needs. The developmentally
appropriate activities give opportunities for every child to grow with
confidence, sociability, compassion, understanding, and acceptance of
differences among children. The program is open for all children aged 2.5 to 4 years old (typical developing children
and children with special needs for mainstreaming).
Yoga for Children-Teens
Let’s Talk and Learn’s Yoga Program was carefully planned
and specifically designed by our Certified Yoga Teacher for children and teens.
It includes poses to increase strength, flexibility and coordination. Classes
for the younger children are intended to be fun, playful, creative and may
include age-appropriate games. Some Benefits of Yoga are:
